Thanksgiving Is Soon!!!

Im soooo excited for Thanksgiving!! My favorite holiday! All the food, family and friends! This is the first year we are having Thanksgiving at our house! Usually we will go to Vancouver at the church and have our dinner there! But... since we live in a different state.... its kinda hard to do that! BUT... my aunt, uncle and cousins are coming down this year!
Last Friday there was a huge party for my friend Tanner. He turned 16!! So there was a lot of people! Over 30! Luckily I knew them all! We had a lot of fun! We played games and of course we had to play Honey I Love You!!

Party at Jessica's House!!!!! When i asked my mom if we could have a party at my house I thought I was going to get that, you know, mom look that says... "Huh?! Your asking me that question? AS IF!! Do you really think that I want a whole bunch of teenagers in my house??" BUT NO! I was very surprised when I saw the look of Consideration on her face! Which gave Selu and I hope! The party did happen!
The first thing we did was play Rock Band and Pool and all that good stuff! Then I led everyone outside to play night games and such- until some lady yelled at us from across the golf-course.... Hehe-- just kidding...! We came inside and played Honey I Love You! Which by the way was the best game we played the whole night! When mom walked in to check on us she sat and watched- she laughed harder than all of us teens did! The first three pictures are from the game!

This video is of Mckenna, who showed all the boys up by DEVOURING a HUGE slice of pizza. Yeah... gross huh?

Jeremey was our counselor and he is on a National team for jump-roping! He's really good!! He can do flips while jumping but he couldnt because we were at EFY

EFY 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EFY was the best!!! I had sooo much fun!! One of the reasons I wanted to go was so I could meet new people- which did happen. There were girls from Hondouras, Canada, and London! The lessons, talks, devotionals, and people were amazing too!

Girls camp was a lot of fun. But it rained non stop. We had a huge puddle in our tent on the last night. The activites were great, being with friends was great too! On the last night I slept with Olivia on her air matress. But that night was the worst because I was freezing. Olvia and I just threw a few blankets over us. Not bothering to get into sleeping bags. She said that i fell off the matress and she pulled me back on. We both stayed kind of warm because olivia Victoria and I all were on the matress, so we were kinda warm... The video above is our leaders- they r pretty awesome!

The Candle Ceremony was really pretty also. Olivia brought her blanket and sat on my lap the whole time, which made me really warm!!!!. While we were waiting for the 4th years to come down all of the girls were singing songs and sitting by the huge fire. then after the ceremony, they gave us candles and the 4th year girls lit them for us.

This was so cool!! From top to bottom it goes... Mallory, Jordan, Austin and my dad. Since we were in Battle Mountain with family from Washington, my dad's grandparents decided to rent the pool for the evening. Since my dad has 10 brothers and sisters, the place was pretty full- almost all of the family showed up. Later that evening, when all of us were going to leave... my uncle decided to jump of the top of the water slide- the water slide is really tall- it was awesome!

Weather....

UGH!!!!! We've been having the WORST weather. Thunder and lightning all day. Poor Spencer gets so nervous! We got a lot of rain which isnt normal for us here.
Just yesterday, when this storm was going on, Meghan and I had to go feed the fish at the neighbors house. As we were running to their house a few lightning bolts struck right behind us!
So after that, we went back to Meghans house and she has the most adorable puppy in the world! Hes a little beagle, with the droopy ears! His name is Hobbs. He's so cute!!! We had a lot of fun playing with him!
